Here's a fun way to store those business cards. You will need an 8x8in square sheet of paper and a couple of business cards. In this tutorial, I used a larger sheet for demonstration. Have fun!1. Begin with the white side of the paper facing you. Fold the paper until you get 16 squares. Fold the sides toward the middle, and then fold the sides toward the crease you just made. Repeat on all four sides of
Plum Blossoms :I'm sharing my quilled flowers created to celebrate Chinese New Year, also known as Spring Festival. I used two of my favourite Best Creation papers where the peonies are just perfect for this festive season. It's my first quilling project and I'm so pleased with the way the flowers turned out. Happy Valentine's Day!! Today we made Valentine's for my son's preschool class, and I have to say, I think they turned out super cute. I wanted bright, fun cards, and I think we accomplished that. For the card, I gathered up a bunch of paper paint swatches that I had been collecting each time we repaint a room (because of coarse I didn't throw them away when I was done). I took two cards and glued them together,
I had signed up for Heather's on-line class in December because I so loved her Sweet Messengers of Christmas project and wanted to make one of my own. Loved it! And now that I have Valentine's Day on my brain, I used her wonderful technique to make this heart-shaped decoration for my home. I added a layer of hot pink lace and an arrow I fashioned from dowel rods, ribbon and cardstock.Favorite soft
I’m trying to get my craft area a little more organized which requires more jars and containers. Both of these jars are actually plastic. The tall jar is a vitamin bottle and the short jar is a makeup container. I cleaned out both containers and scrubbed off the labels. For leftover sticky residue from labels, I like to use Goo Gone. The makeup container already had a black top but the vitamin bottle had a plain white childproof top so I covered

So the other day, I was flipping through my piles (many, many piles) of magazines and catalogs, and I had an idea! Why not recycle these catalog pages and turn them into cute paper flowers? No need to buy any fancy paper, these turn out just as cute or even
Aren't these cute? I sat down at my dining room table with a bunch of colored circles, and this is one of the festive ideas I came up with. If your Succah generally leans on the elegant side (like mine, actually) , so these decorations would look great in neutral contrasting colors too! Imagine creme and gold? Pastel blue and creme? This week will
One of my favorite times of the year is early Spring, when it's still really winter, but the fruit trees start to signal the change of season with their gorgeous display of pink and white blooms. While I grew up with Japanese cherry trees that were planted specifically for their Spring display of pink blooms, in Israel the first tree to bloom is the almond tree, whose blooms are also pink and lovely! The first signs of Spring are remarkable
